J5 Code is open-source software maintained by Jackson Miller. It is free, and its source is at github.com/Jacksondr5/j5code.

License

J5 Code is released under the MIT License. The license says what you may do with the software, and that it comes without warranty.

T3 Code

J5 Code is a fork of T3 Code, which is made by T3 Tools Inc. and also MIT licensed. J5 Code is an independent project: T3 Tools does not make, endorse, or support it.

T3 Connect and T3 Account are T3 Tools' hosted services. J5 Code does not run them, and J5 Code releases are not set up to use them.

Services you connect

J5 Code runs coding agents through providers you choose and sign in to yourself, such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Cursor. Your use of each provider is under that provider's terms and privacy policy, not J5 Code's.

Privacy

The privacy page says what J5 Code sends from your machines and how to turn it off.
